This landing page was created to allow for users to be able to access 3 different areas from within the website depending upon what their status was. the buttons launched them to a login page and if they met the requried credentials they were enabled access.
I created ‘ghost’ buttons to allow the background image of inside the assembly to show through. A hover effect was added so that it would indicate it is a link to the user. The buttons and background were tested for contrast levels and both passed AODA specifications (WCAG). The image was aged with a photoshop effect, to appear as though it was antique and gave it a retro appearance.
This landing page was well received by the steering committe and remains on the intranet for internal users.
